Google Search And Chrome : Best Combination

Google Chrome , that's what the 41.7% of world is using for the web Browsing and various activity. It had overtaken the Massive Mozilla Firefox in March 2012. It has been completed the four years of launching Chrome and now it have the majority of the web users using it. The above Statistics is according to w3schools.com
Now I am going to explain you some of the cool features that can be only made possible using the Google Chrome and the Google Search. But to Get the following feature You must need to Sign in the Google Chorme.

  • ● Get the recently searched keyword in the suggestion box
The browser save all the keyword which you have searched in the history and displays the keywords when you search anything similar to it with the other suggestions. It also shows the option to remove if you want to remove that past search from the suggestion list. The example is also given in the below image (Click on it to see enlarge image).
  • ● Shows the history about that website
This is the one of the best feature, which I personally really like it. This feature shows us that how many times we visited that link or that website and not just this much it also shows when the last time you visited that website. This helps the user that link is useful or not and also states whether I have visited it and can save his time rather than visiting the same site again. The example is also given in the below image (Click on it to see enlarge image).
  • ● Shows the preview of website without clicking on the link
When you search for any keyword in search box the best result comes out in that page. But who would you know that this is the only thing which you need. So the Google search offers you to watch the preview of website and check that is it the content which you needs. You can simply get the preview by clicking on the arrow button when you hover on the following link.

Google New Easter Egg : Zerg Rush

Google has a new Easter Egg: search for [zerg rush] and you'll notice that search results will start to disappear, destroyed by zerglings. Your mission is to save the search results and kill the zerglings using your clicks, but it's not easy.

According to KnowYourMeme, "Zerg Rush is a popular online gaming term used to describe an overwhelming scale of attack carried out by one player against another in real time strategy (RTS) games. The term originates from the popular RTS game Starcraft, in which the Zerg race is notoriously known for its ability to mass-produce offensive units within a short time frame, thus allowing the player to overpower the opponent by sheer number."

When the game is over, Google lets you post your results to Google+ and shows the message "GG", a cryptic way to say "Good Game".

So friends...Try this and submit your score to Google + . Atlast "Google God" = "GG"

Google Drive : Save Your Data on Cloud

Just like the Loch Ness Monster, you may have heard the rumors about Google Drive. It turns out, one of the two actually does exist.

Today, we’re introducing Google Drive—a place where you can create, share, collaborate, and keep all of your stuff. Whether you’re working with a friend on a joint research project, planning a wedding with your fiancé or tracking a budget with roommates, you can do it in Drive. You can upload and access all of your files, including videos, photos, Google Docs, PDFs and beyond.

With Google Drive, you can:
  • Create and collaborate. Google Docs is built right into Google Drive, so you can work with others in real time on documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Once you choose to share content with others, you can add and reply to comments on anything (PDF, image, video file, etc.) and receive notifications when other people comment on shared items.
  • Store everything safely and access it anywhere (especially while on the go). All your stuff is just... there. You can access your stuff from anywhere—on the web, in your home, at the office, while running errands and from all of your devices. You can install Drive on your Mac or PC and can download the Drive app to your Android phone or tablet. We’re also working hard on a Drive app for your iOS devices. And regardless of platform, blind users can access Drive with a screen reader.
  • Search everything. Search by keyword and filter by file type, owner and more. Drive can even recognize text in scanned documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. Let’s say you upload a scanned image of an old newspaper clipping. You can search for a word from the text of the actual article. We also use image recognition so that if you drag and drop photos from your Grand Canyon trip into Drive, you can later search for [grand canyon] and photos of its gorges should pop up. This technology is still in its early stages, and we expect it to get better over time.
You can get started with 5GB of storage for free—that’s enough to store the high-res photos of your trip to the Mt. Everest, scanned copies of your grandparents’ love letters or a career’s worth of business proposals, and still have space for the novel you’re working on. You can choose to upgrade to 25GB for $2.49/month, 100GB for $4.99/month or even 1TB for $49.99/month. When you upgrade to a paid account, your Gmail account storage will also expand to 25GB.

Drive is built to work seamlessly with your overall Google experience. You can attach photos from Drive to posts in Google+, and soon you’ll be able to attach stuff from Drive directly to emails in Gmail. Drive is also an open platform, so we’re working with many third-party developers so you can do things like send faxesedit videos andcreate website mockups directly from Drive. To install these apps, visit the Chrome Web Store—and look out for even more useful apps in the future.

This is just the beginning for Google Drive; there’s a lot more to come.

Get started with Drive today at drive.google.com/start—and keep looking for Nessie...

Google’s Homepage Pays Tribute to Steve Jobs

Google has put rivalries aside to pay tribute to late Apple founder Steve Jobs on its homepage. Under the company’s trademark search box, a message simply reads: “Steve Jobs, 1955-2011,” and links to Apple’s homepage (which features its own tribute).
Apple announced that Jobs had passed away on Wednesday. Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple back in August, writing at the time that, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, that day has come.”

Google warns if computers have been Infected by Malware

Is there anything that Google can't do? Google has just announced on its official blog that it can tell users if their computers have been infected by malware. If you're performing a search on Google and notice a large yellow box on the top of the screen telling you that "Your computer appears to be infected", then there's probably some unwanted software on your computer that could possibly be causing harm.

MalwareWarningScreenshot

Besides issuing users the warning about malware, Google is also kind enough to provide links to resources to help them get rid of the problem. While there's no guarantee they'll detect 100% of all malware, or if the solutions they present can help, it's a lot better than having no warning at all. I guess they're also giving consumers one more reason to use its search engine over its competitors. I wonder if the rest will follow suit.

Get Local Time on Google Search [Hack] [Dorks]

google_current_time_india_mumbai_maharashtra

Hello guys,
Recently I’ve notice one interesting fact about Google search engine. Whenever I do search with the keyword (time), Google displays my local time, just above the search result. What is that ? Finally I got to know that, this is Google’s new feature, that will show you your local time.

You can use this feature to find out the current time for different countries such as UK , US and many more. You just have to search “current time” and add the country name just after that.
E.g. – Current time India – This will bring local time of India. So change the name India to particular country-name to see current time for that.

Infographic: Google+ vs. Facebook, Must Watch …

0,1468,i=309338,00By now you've probably seen all the headlines, skipped through the "how to" guides, and read all the reasons why so many tech journalists and online socialites are clamouring to get into Google+, with some even bidding on eBay for a G+ invite.

But you? You're more cautious about putting yourself out there online. Perhaps you think Google+ is no different from that other time suck, Facebook. Or perhaps you're too weirder out by Facebook "poking" to care about learning the difference between a Google+ "huddle" and "hangout".

Fortunately, the folks over at Technobombs.com created the info graphic below to make it easy for you to see the most fundamental differences between the two social networks:

NO .co.cc domains/sub-domains will be shown in Google Search Result

In order to fight against web spam Google, the giant blocked all co.cc subdomains sites from its search results. Co.cc is a domain used a company that offers subdomains in bulk, to anyone interested in this sort of deal. Many people start registering CO.CC domains since its given as FREE. They start a website with CO.CC copy & paste some contents and make the website

co.cc

Matt Cutts Remarks:

“First, a definition: a ‘freehost’ is a domain that will let anyone register a site on that domain. There’s lots and lots of high-quality freehosts out there (wordpress.com comes to mind),” Matt Cutts wrote, on Google+. Matt Cutts is the head of internet spam in Google
“We absolutely do try to be granular, but I wanted to mention that if we see a very large fraction of sites on a specific freehost be spammy or low-quality, we do reserve the right to take action on the freehost as a whole,” he explained.
“I think most savvy search/SEO folks would understand this completely, but I figure it’s better to over-communicate than under-communicate,” Matt Cutts added.
intro
Abhi Remarks:
Due to this step by Google many new Spammers will no more encouraged .This will surely help to make a web search even for perfect. How to use Google for hacking !!!

Google serves almost 80 percent of all search queries on the Internet, proving itself as the most popular search engine. However Google makes it possible to reach not only the publicly available information resources, but also gives access to some of the most confidential information that should never have been revealed. In this post I will show how to use Google for exploiting security vulnerabilities within websites. The following are some of the hacks that can be accomplished using Google.

1. Hacking Security Cameras
There exists many security cameras used for monitoring places like parking lots, college campus, road traffic etc. which can be hacked using Google so that you can view the images captured by those cameras in real time. All you have to do is use the following search query in Google. Type in Google search box exactly as follows and hit enter

inurl:”viewerframe?mode=motion”

Click on any of the search results (Top 5 recommended) and you will gain access to the live camera which has full controls. You will see something as follows

As you can see in the above screenshot, you now have access to the Live cameras which work in real-time. You can also move the cameras in all the four directions, perform actions such as zoom in and zoom out. This camera has really a less refresh rate. But there are other search queries through which you can gain access to other cameras which have faster refresh rates. So to access them just use the following search query.

intitle:”Live View / – AXIS”

Click on any of the search results to access a different set of live cameras. Thus you have hacked Security Cameras using Google.

2. Hacking Personal and Confidential Documents

Using Google it is possible to gain access to an email repository containing CV of hundreds of people which were created when applying for their jobs. The documents containing their Address, Phone, DOB, Education, Work experience etc. can be found just in seconds.

intitle:”curriculum vitae” “phone * * *” “address *” “e-mail”

You can gain access to a list of .xls (excel documents) which contain contact details including email addresses of large group of people. To do so type the following search query and hit enter.

filetype:xls inurl:”email.xls”

Also it’s possible to gain access to documents potentially containing information on bank accounts, financial summaries and credit card numbers using the following search query

intitle:index.of finances.xls

3. Hacking Google to gain access to Free Stuffs

Ever wondered how to hack Google for free music or ebooks. Well here is a way to do that. To download free music just enter the following query on google search box and hit enter.

“?intitle:index.of?mp3 eminem

Now you’ll gain access to the whole index of eminem album where in you can download the songs of your choice. Instead of eminem you can subtitute the name of your favorite album. To search for the ebooks all you have to do is replace “eminem” with your favorite book name. Also replace “mp3″ with “pdf” or “zip” or “rar”.

I hope you enjoy this post. Pass your comments. Cheers!   :)

Google Publishes an eBook

The nature of the Internet doesn't exactly make for an exciting bedtime story, but that's how Google is presenting "20 Things I Learned About Browsers and the Web."

Google's Chrome team wrote the e-book in HTML5, presented as interactive pages that you can fold and flip by clicking and dragging the mouse. The book is fun to read, at least for a little while, and educational if you're not a know-it-all. It advocates for updating to a modern Web browser (i.e., not IE6) and argues that plug-ins are relics (unless they're integrated into the browser itself, as Chrome does with Adobe Flash).

The topis covered in this book are as follows :-
  1. What is the Internet
  2. Cloud Computing
  3. Web-Apps
  4. HTML,Javascript,Css , etc
  5. HTML 5
  6. 3D in Browser
  7. A Browser Madrigal
  8. Plug-Ins
  9. Browser Extension
  10. Synchronizing the browser
  11. Browser Cookies
  12. Browsers and Privacy
  13. Malware,phishing and security risks
  14. Browser protection from Malware and Phishing
  15. Using web-address to stay safe
  16. IP addresses and DNS
  17. Validating Identities Online
  18. Evolving to a faster web
  19. Open Source and Browsers
  20. 19 things Later...
Its an Interesting Book with a great GUI.
Must read it once!!!
